Our animator, Yuriy Polyashko of Darvideo, represented Beantown Pals at this year’s Kidscreen Summit, held February 9-12 in San Diego, California. The Summit is an annual four-day event that brings together over 1,800 representatives from over 50 countries to engage in critical dialogue on issues that affect the children’s entertainment industry.
We were thrilled to discover that people remembered Beantown Pals from prior Kidscreen summits and were excited to see our return!
Yuriy came to us several years ago after searching the internet for suitable studios to animate our collection of 150 stories and vignettes. Fortune played its hand and introduced us to not only a great animation company but a team of enthusiastic, talented artists and Ukrainian heroes.
By good fortune, Yuriy was able to find refuge in Miami and maintains watch over his widely spread team. Under his direction, his team continues to produce outstanding work in spite of conditions in Ukraine. Their efforts to reorganize and relocate while still working are ongoing and exemplary.
